SL-LT - Production Lines for Smart Labels and Smart Luggage Tags
In numerous field tests RFID Luggage Tags have already proven their unsurpassed reliability. Increasing security demands and decreasing transponder prices have now paved the way for one of the oldest RFID applications to be used in practice.
Early in 2004, MELZER delivered the first machine for these products to Asia. The SL-LT series is based on the successful Smart Label Production Line of the SL type and adds another punching module to it. This allows the production of standard RFID labels as well as of the long luggage tags. Needless to say that the patented transponder selection systems is being employed again.
The single track production line is able to process up to 250 mm wide and 600 mm long documents and large-sized labels.

With an output of up to 6,000 smart luggage tags/h or up to 10,000 smart labels/h this machine is ideal for accessing RFID technology.
For producing large volumes the SL-400 LT is available with an output
of up to 24,000 smart luggage tags/h or up to 40,000 smart labels/h.

STL-LT - Production Lines for Smart Tickets/Labels and Smart Luggage Tags
As a matter of course MELZER also offers this machine type in the versatile STL version for producing smart labels, smart tickets and smart luggage tags on just one machine.
Like in all MELZER machines for RFID product converting, the patented transponder selection is employed and ensures that all transponders are being tested before further processing and defective transponders are being sorted out.
